Everything is going great

I had my doctor appointment today and everything is going great. This little boy is moving around like if he is in an olympic-size pool. The doctor said the heartbeat sounded great.

Next month I have my glucose test.... I hate that test. I can't eat breakfast and then at the dr's office they give you a REALLY SWEET liquid. But I guess if it is for the good of the baby and my health I will do anything.

I have gained 3 pounds since last month so for those that are keeping a tally I have gained a total of 12 pounds. YAY for me!!! I am hoping that I won't gain much weight by the end of this pregnancy.

The most beautiful sight...

Last night while we were watching TV I felt our little boy kicking so I told Adrian to put his hand on my belly, when he did this he immediately felt the kick. He was amazed at how it felt because the other day eventhough he also felt it I think it was too faint for him to really appreciate what it was like to feel the baby kick. But not for my recount of the most beautiful sight... I lifted my shirt a bit so he can feel it again and right when I did that we saw the kick on my belly. I don't really have words to describe how I felt when I saw this. All Adrian could say is "That reminds me of that scene from Aliens"...

Baby Shower Preparations Continue...

The baby shower preparations continue on their path and the invitations have been sent out.

The completion of the invitations took a bit longer than I expected because between work and this baby I could not get everything done quickly. I guess that is the price you have to pay when you design every little aspect of the invitation and enclosures.

I will continue to post more shower news as it becomes available.

The father has felt THE KICKS

I am happy to announce that Adrian finally felt the baby kick last night. Although they are very faint on the outside you can still feel them. He was bothering me because since they are so faint he says they can't feel that much stronger on the inside but trust me when I tell you that I feel them a lot more than anyone can.

I spent almost all day giggling yesterday because this baby is moving around so much that I constantly have a tickling feeling in my belly.

For all those that have never felt the moving of a baby I must say it is a unbelievable experience.

I have a Dr appointment next week so I will update you on that as soon as I get back.
