Billy Joel

Last night my husband and I had the great fortune to go see Billy Joel in concert at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise. It was an AWESOME show. The concert lasted about two and a half hours with no intermission. He sang a few songs from his early work but the majority of the show was songs that are more well known. This was the total opposite from the show he did last week, which my friend went to see....

This is the fifth time that I see the Piano Man in concert. I have seen him play alone 4 times and once with Elton John.

Adrian, my adorable husband, went crazy taking pictures at the concert so since I can not post all 175 photos here are a few shots that I thought were great.

Lipizzanner Stallions

Yesterday in the afternoon we went to see the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions. The history of these stallions is amazing. The are born black as they age they turn grey and when they are mature the are white. If you would like to read more about these stallions you can go to their official site: http://www.lipizzaner.com

As many of you know, Adrian loves horses so this show was a great experience for him. He took over my camera and took over 300 photos of these amazing stallions. Here is a few photos of the tricks they do.

Yes the horse is in the air...

The horse bows after he has finished his trick and the audience applauds.

Chihuly Exhibit

Yesterday we went to Fairchild Botanical Gardens to see the Dale Chihuly Exhibit. The whole exhibit consists of glass sculptures. These sculptures are placed among the plants, in the lakes & ponds, and some are hanging from trees. The workmanship on these sculptures is breathtaking.

Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy.
