Felipe Ignacio's Baptism

Yesterday was Felipe Ignacio's baptism. He was baptized at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Miami and Father Gerardo performed the ceremony.

Our little boy was very well behaved during the whole ceremony. We all thought that he would cry when Father Gerardo poured the water over his head but he didn't he actually smiled.

After the ceremony was over and we all took pictures with Felipe and headed home for the reception.

We had set-up a tent with tables in our backyard. Luckily the weather was really nice so it was fun to be outdoors. We had a some hors devours until the real food arrived. We had ordered some Paella and also some chicken with mushroom sauce for those who do not eat seafood.

In the end I think everyone had a great time.

Baby # 9 is on the way....

Last night during our "grupito" get-together our friend Claudia surprised us all by telling us that she is currently 5 weeks pregnant with her second child... All the girls are hoping it is a girl because there is a shortage of girls in our group but she, of course, wants another boy so she can recycle all of her son's old clothing....

Many of you might not know her but my friend Sandra had a beautiful baby girl a couple of days ago... I went to visit her yesterday. Of course, I took lots of pictures so I will share a few with you now.

Our Tree Topper

This year Adrian wanted the tree to be decorated in Blue and Silver so our mission was to find ornaments and lights but this is easier said than done... We were not able to find any ornaments we only found 2 boxes of blue balls and 3 of silver balls... We finally got our tree decorated but now came the tough part... What are we going to use as a tree topper???

YEAH!!! We have pictures of our son as our tree topper.... I guess it is a cute idea considering it's his first christmas....

I can hold my bottle

On Saturday I had a dentist appointment so Adrian and my dad stayed home with the baby... When I get home they tell me that the baby can do a new trick... Here I am thinking that he can roll over or something but nope... that wasn't the case. Felipe Ignacio can hold his bottle but only when it is half empty... I guess it is still too heavy for him when it is full.
