The most awaited Update

It's been a while since my mommy has posted any information about me but today I think she will be updating you on the past 2 months....

Now here is my mommy....

Sorry for the lack of blogging but Felipe seems to be taking up all my free time... To make it up to everyone who reads this blog I will do a cumulative update. Since it is so much that needs to be said I think you should get comfy before you start to read.

Let's see where did I leave off last time... Oh yeah his 2 month check up....

Well, Felipe had his 2 month check-up on September 28th and the doctor said that his growth and weight are right on schedule... He was weighing 12 lbs and measuring 24 inches.

I can't forget to mention that on September 25th I left Felipe alone with my mom for the first time.... Adrian, Gonz, Marilu and I went to a concert in Boca. It was difficult to be away from him for almost 8 hours (the trip is 3.5 hours roundtrip plus concert time) but it was also nice to be able to enjoy the concert.

Let's move on with the update....

On October 26th, his 3 month birthday, I took dressed him in a cute outfit that matched what Adrian was wearing because I wanted to take him to Sears to take some photos but that didn't go as planned. When we got to the studio Felipe just lost it crying and we couldn't take any photos. Luckily, I had stopped by my mother-in-laws job and taken some photos there of Adrian with Felipe.

On October 27th we took Felipe to his first Pumpkin Patch at Little Farm in Homestead. He didn't like the feeling of the hard pumpkins on his little booty so I had to put his blanket underneath him.... At this moment my photo happiness came back and I started shooting photos like there was no tomorrow... I must have taken about 150 photos from all different angles and at different places throughout the pumpkin patch...

For Felipe's 1st Halloween, Adrian decided that since Felipe Ignacio should live up to his nickname we dressed him up as Nacho Libre. The whole costume was created from ordinary baby clothes...

November 3rd was a very busy day for Felipe... To start off we went to Beka and Andrew's Pirate Birthday Party. All the kids got pirate hats and even Felipe got one... When we left the party, Adrian, Felipe and I met up with my mom, my cousin Fabian and his co-worker. We all went to lunch and then to my mom's house. It was fun to see my cousin whom I hadn't seen since last year but what was the funniest was to see how nervous he was to hold the baby.

November 5th was the day I was dreading the most for the past few months and it finally arrived... I had to go back to work but luckily Adrian has been taking care of Felipe during the day so that I can work part-time. Father and son enjoy their time alone cuz the go to the park and for walks around the neighborhood. A couple days after I started working, on November 7th, Adrian emails me a photo. When I open the attachment it is a photo of Felipe holding his head up. He had been trying to do Tummy Time with him but we had been unsuccessful until this day.

Felipe's 1st Thanksgiving was spent at my grandmother's house where we all had a late lunch and relaxed the rest of the day. I took photos of Felipe with everyone who was there but the funny photo was with a turkey centerpiece that my grandmother had on the table... When I took the photo Felipe was falling forward so it gave the impression that he was talking to the turkey.

Now our update is coming to an end with his 4 month update. I can't believe how much he has grown in the past 4 months... I haven't taken him to the doctor yet for his checkup but I measured and weighed him the other day. He was 26 inches and 14 lbs... Let's see what the doctor says on Wednesday....

Woohoo! Finally! I love the nacho libre costume (I can't wait to borrow that hand-me-down).

The turkey picture is adorable because he looks like he's having a serious eye-to-eye conversation with el pavo.
